HAPPY 37th BENJAMIN-

and FIRST DAY OF SPRING!!

We got to play with Ben ALL DAY!

Ben was scheduled to work on his birthday, but once his work found out it was his birthday they insisted he take the day off. SOOOO we woke up and took off to the Botanical Gardens. It is so beautiful there and the weather was perfect for a lovely morning birthday stroll.

We hit the Aquarium next, and then off to Yogi Bear 3d.

We got lunch and played WII "FAMILY FEUD".

It was just a fantastic, chill, lovely day together.

Dearest John and Hannah,

I want you to know how precious moments like today are to your father. He works so hard each day for our family. He has shed tears praying that you each know how much he loves you. He hopes your childhood has memories of him engaging with you in your development, challenges, milestones, and joys of your discoveries of this life. I see him hunger for the little moments of time he has with you both. Challenging himself to be so present as to not let the opportunity slip away feeling empty. I could not even image a more amazing, God loving, wise, noble, hilarious father for you both (and you know how high my expectations can be). The thought of being able to spend more time with you both is a huge motivation for his long days at school and work. This journey as a family has brought us closer then we ever could have imagined through humility, and gratitude. Heaven knows what this family loves-EACH OTHER.
