THE CONSEQUENCE JAR!

This has been such a great asset to our parenting. For the last couple of weeks when the kids make choices that are not so great Ben and I have them go pick a chore out of the jar. Hannah has had to pick one for running late in the morning before school, which causes everyone to be late. The jar keeps me from getting impatient, and yelling. 20 push-ups, 30 sit-ups, walk the dogs, sweep and mop the bathroom floors, clean bathtub are just some of the chores that are in our family consequence jar.
