John is doing soooooo well in school

this year! He jumps up out of bed at 6:00 a.m.

plays the OLYMPIC RUNNING TRACK on the Wii

- where he gets a great workout. Then enjoys his time

getting ready for school. This is so fun to

see and delights my heart that he is excited

about the day ahead. YEAH WHOO!!

His teacher Ms. Lannon and personal aid Mrs. Spies

are blown away at his math abilities, but also

the growth in every area that they have seen

in just the few weeks of school so far.

FANTASTIC!

John's I.E.P.'S are like big LOVE FESTS now-

-WOW he has worked so hard and come so far

from where we had started 3 years ago!

John's latest focus (or obsession) is DOLLAR BILLS

and PRESIDENTS!

He knows who is on every coin and bill ever made-

which is how I learned that SACAJAWEA

was on the gold 1 dollar coin.

Mrs. Spies was so kind to bring and show John

her 100 dollar bill and a 2 dollar bill.

He could not stop telling me about it.

His favorite bill right now is the 50.

Which he shares over and over

that ULYSSES S.GRANT who was

the 18th President of the

United States is on the 50 dollar bill.

John loves Abraham Lincoln who was the

16th President of the United States.

If you ask him about any other

President's number he can tell you!
