One of my favorite childhood memories of my father is him playing the piano every Sunday after church. I would dance around our huge living room to the songs and I told myself that he was playing for me so I could dance(GIVEN). He would play Spellbound, Tenderly, Lawrence of Arabia, and Birth of the Blues.
Today John and Hannah started piano lessons and I was thrilled to walk in at the end of the class and find him sitting with the teacher(Sharon Bishop) laughing and smiling while she played a song while he would act out the words. Hannah shared that she can't wait to sing along while she plays herself.
